Going to Disneyland - Hotel Suggestions?
My boyfriend and I have planned a trip to Disneyland for just the two of us. I've been doing a lot of research on it, best rates, flights, hotels, tickets, etc and trying to figure everything out the best I can without knowing the area. He has been three times, but all when he was young... more than fifteen years ago, and I have never been! We're looking for something clean, that I wouldn't be afraid to spend time in and are willing to spend around $100/night and have decided to stay off resort but walk to Disney. I've narrowed it down, but nearly enough to make a concrete decision, any input or your experiences on any one of the hotels would be very helpful! I have really enjoyed the ramada and anabella. If you are going just for DL, its worth it to get a close hotel. If you havn't already, check to see which hotels offer a free shuttle to and from. Maybe you could stay in Newport or Huntington beach and shuttle to Anaheim. It's only like a 15 minute drive, but so worth being able to be at the beach all night. Have fun! I so wish I could go!

Have stayed at the Fairfield Inn twice, really liked it a lot. If you ask for a resort view room it faces the back side of Space Mountain and at night you can watch the fireworks show from your hotel. They have a pizza hut in the hotel and the pool is nice. We walked to Disneyland each day. They have Mimi's Cafe and Mill's restaurant on site as well so plenty of eating choices to use within walking distance. (McDonald's and other places are within walking distance as well)
